Behind the festival

Jordi Lydia

  • Jordi has been brought into Earth Daughters to fill the role of ‘Managing Director’, ensuring that all systems run as smoothly as possible, with efficiency and attunement to the range of needs the festival as a whole holds.

    Bringing together her skill sets within both the mystical and practical; with nearly a decade of active practice within the energetic, ceremonial and spiritual realms, as well as her years of event management and facilitation along with her innate set of skills within all things ‘organizational systems’ related, she fills the role of Managing Director beautifully; tending to both the seen and unseen realms of the essence that is Earth Daughters.

    You’ll find her and her efforts within the foundational systems and frameworks of the festival, our weekly emails, within the email inbox, and tending to the nourishment set-up and festivities during festival weekend!

Amanda Stephenson

  • Through being of service to women in the birth space and bringing women together in sacred circles, Amanda discovered the personal and collective healing powers that rise when women gather. This led to the creation of the community known as Earth Daughters.

    In a time of fear ridden disconnection and isolation she committed to the Earth Daughters vision and brought it through. She called in the initial team, cultivated the space and birthed Earth Daughters into existence to be further nourished by all of you into what it is now. If you’ve been here since the beginning times of Earth Daughters, you know the journey that unfolded to bring us where we are today and what anchored in the necessity of a space such as this to be established and reoccurring for years to come.

    Amanda holds Earth Daughters like her own child; pouring forward true devotional care and sustenance, praying over its growth and evolvement, witnessing its unfolding and embracing the growing pains and celebrations along the way.

    You’ll find her infused into every detail & decision of the festival, and of course amongst the Festival Grounds soaking in the magic with all of you.

Kjelti Anderson

  • Kjelti’s overall essence emanates a soothing and comforting aura, feeling held and cared for within her presence is inevitable. Which is a large reason as to why we’ve chosen Kjelti to be our Care and Support Team Lead.

    We desire for the women within our community to feel a sense of belonging, to feel held and to feel informed leading up to the festival, during and afterwards, we feel Kjelti is the perfect woman for this role and we are sure you will all agree!

    You’ll find Kjelti stewarding our monthly Earth Daughters Sister Circles, within our Instagram Stories sharing updates and interviews with our guides, managing our online group offering space for reflection and integration, and of course you’ll find her across the festival grounds sharing her love, care and possibly even some of her song and herbal magic.

Cristina Borgogelli 

  • Cristina is the creator of last year's interactive and contemplative Vulva Portal installation piece, and guide for the Creative HeART sanctuary ceremony.

    She is a daughter of Italian immigrants who honor the seasons and live close to the land. She is also a mother to a creative, inspiring, and exuberant 10-year-old boy, co-creating many works of heart together. Cristina is an intuitive artist that creates energetic signature portraits and rainbow codes as well as interactive/contemplative installation art pieces.

    She is currently working on her first wisdom oracle deck and seasonally she hosts heART Circle- therapeutic art gatherings to delve into the heart space through creative/artistic expression. Cristina is also the Founder of the Abundance Holistic Health & Yoga Fair, an annual weekend immersive event in Kimberley, BC.

Empria King

  • Empria is the curator, visionary, and owner behind Rising Moon Studio and Rising Moon Glamping. Empria is on a mission to deepen people's connection with nature through transformative experiences.

    Empria adds character to her glamping havens by scouring thrift stores for hidden treasures. Empria's vision for Rising Moon Glamping is rooted in personal experiences and a genuine desire to share nature's transformative power. With her wild spirit and unwavering commitment, she invites all to join the journey, experience the magic of the moon, and find solace in the extraordinary spaces she crafts.

    Deeply connected to gathering with sisters and creating spaces for women, Empria weaves a unique tapestry of sisterhood and empowerment. Additionally, her love for being bare naked in nature reflects a profound connection with the earth, further enhancing the authenticity and raw beauty of her creative endeavors. Discover the magic with Empria, where creativity and a deep connection with nature converge for an unforgettable experience.

Anabel De La Forêt

  • Anabel is from Salt Spring Island, BC but she spends most of the year living in Costa Rica. She is a photographer, videographer and artist. Women are her muses.

    She specializes in capturing folks connecting with nature, photographing special retreats and co-creating artistic shoots. Anabel is a photographer endlessly devoted to capturing the raw, unique and exquisite essence of each individual that she co-creates with. With a background and history in midwifery, doula work, herbalism and earth-based arts, she am no stranger to capturing and honouring the sacredness of Mother Earth expressing herself as human.

    Anabel loves capturing authentic expressions and sacred moments. She creates sacred spaces for her clients to express their inner radiance and to feel comfortable getting into their bodies to allow their beauty to be captured. Together we will create an incredibly safe, nourishing and reciprocal container, to ensure that you can relax into your most relaxed and authentic state of being.

Lauren

  • Lauren is an artist, nude portrait photographer and the creator of An Ode To The Wild.

    A place for you to show up authentically in your human experience. She holds space for your unravelling, a collaboration between you and the wild. She invites you to return home to your raw and untamed self, for your Spirit to settle in both stillness and expression.

    Her craft is a process of returning to the wild one within, remembering that there is no separation between you and nature. The journey she facilitates is an exploration of the stories we carry within our bodies, a place we can witness ourselves through the lens of being seen.

Georgia Gomme

  • Georgja ‘La Loba’ is a Brazilian Bruxa and Photographer who infuses magick and soul into her craft. You will catch her catching and making moments that nourish the Soul and the Wild within. She sees photography as a portal, where we are able to time travel and reactivate the powerful shifts and memories. Catch her howling at stars and hugging the trees in between taking photos and making art.

Sydney Young

  • As a feminine filmmaker, Sydney brings a unique perspective to the world of storytelling, with a specialization in capturing the essence of female-led events and creative projects.

    Her passion for filmmaking is backed by a solid foundation in film production, acquired through college education and industry experience. Guided by a deep sense of intuition, Sydney brings a spiritual approach to my creative process, fostering healing and empowerment through her art.

    Whether through the lens of a camera or the realm of spiritual guidance, Sydney’s mission is to inspire and uplift, creating meaningful connections and transformative experiences for those she works with.
