Nourishment
Nourishment at Earth Daughters is woven with intention, care, and community support.
We encourage those who are able to purchase our catered meal tickets, as this is the primary source of nourishment and culinary variety at the festival and directly supports the sustainability of the event. In addition to catering, guests will enjoy a full concession brought to you by the EDF Kitchen, offering snacks, sandwiches, and drinks; a dedicated Elixir Bar serving herbal and ceremonial beverages; and a coffee tent hosted by North Star Roasting Co.

Earth Daughters Festival Kitchen & Concession
Hosted by Cristina and Kelly
-
Kelly Courtenay and Cristina Borgogelli are the dynamic duo of the EDK (Earth Daughter’s Kitchen) catering and concession. Both hailing from northern Ontario and both making Kimberley home. The duo met during work contracts at the local Food Recovery hub and found out about their common shared interests in fashion /sewing and past jobs at Kicking Horse Coffee when they both lived in Invermere at different times before moving to Kimberley where their paths finally crossed. Both are mom's with a passion for the outdoors, nature, good food and being creative.
Kelly is a mom to three wonderful little and busy humans that keep her constantly on her toes. She has had numerous jobs in food and beverage and she feels incredibly passionate about serving good, wholesome food that brings joy to others. Kimberley became her home four years ago after moving from Ontario to be in the mountains. Her family loves living in the Kootenays where they can climb and play year round.
Cristina is a mom to a creative & thoughtful boy. She has catered nourishing food for several retreats in the Kootenays, worked in a variety of kitchens and restaurants & hospitality industries, and also had a pasta making workshop business in which she would teach the art of making pasta to groups around the east & west Kootenays. Her father, an avid vegetable gardener, winemaker and forager taught her where to find blueberries and how to ice fish. She grew up enjoying traditional Italian food grown at home and slow cooked by her mamma and great aunties, learning traditional recipes that were passed down throughout the generations. Some recipes as old as 1000 years!
Both women share a passion for building community through gathering and sharing good food. They look forward to providing you nourishment made with love during your time at EDF 2026

We also offer a shared community nourishment space for all attendees, serving as a dining, meal-prep, and dish-washing station. This area includes hot water urns, toasters, and chopping boards available throughout the day, and is lovingly tended by a dedicated ground crew ensuring hygiene, upkeep, and ease of use. We will not have attendee cooktops available for use; however, women are welcome to bring their own. Garbage, recycling, and compost stations will be clearly marked and maintained. Community care, accessibility, and collective responsibility are of the utmost importance as we gather in an off-grid environment. Propane use is welcome on the ground, and we will be following all provincial fire restrictions. No open land fires are permitted unless directly facilitated by our event management team.
